Attached is our newsletter for this month of August, just to keep you up to date with what we've been doing. And, as a reminder: our annual Trivia Night is this Saturday at Eastwood Public School Hall from 6.30pm until 11:00pm or so. The entry fee is $10 for students, $20 for adults (but adults have tea and cake included). The money we all raise will go towards our upcoming projects.
Also, we have a team for the September 23rd Relay for Life: http://relay.cancercouncil.com.au/2011/macquarie_ryde_2011/Macquarie-Rotaract.
Register before the 9th of September for the earlybird fee of $15 (which includes a shirt). An important part of us entering as a team is to try and raise some funds for the event and in turn the Cancer Council, so make use of your personal team link from the website and send it out to friends! Let friends and family know your participating and ask if they'd be willing to sponsor you.
