Dear Rotaractors and Friends,
Happy 2012! Rotaract MQ has big plans this year and one of our projects is a major community initiative: E-waste Recycling. This will hopefully happen throughout September 2012 to coincide with Spring Cleaning.
I'm emailing today because we need your help: this project needs a catchy name! We're relying on members of the public to participate by recycling their unused electronic devices, so we will be doing a lot of promotion. The name needs to be memorable and interesting, and a logo (or idea for a logo) would be fantastic.
So, please get creative and start posting comments at http://www.rotaractmq.org/content/e-waste-recycling-project-2012. Suggest an idea, brainstorm around other people's suggestions, or voice your opinions if the puns get unbearably bad (otherwise, we might end up with something terrible like "E-Waste in E-Wood").
If you're a little bit shy, send your ideas to vp@rotaractmq.org and they will be anonymously posted up for discussion.
We will need to decide on a name and logo before 4th February 2012. Looking forward to your ideas!
