RYLA stands for Rotary Youth Leadership Awards and was established in 1971 and is held annually. It is a week long leadership development program designed to teach and enhance leadership skills in young people between the ages 18-25. The program consists of various motivational speakers, interactive role playing scenarios and team building exercises. It is a great opportunity to develop your leadership skills and expand your network. The program is held in January every year and RYLArians are sponsored by a local Rotary club to attend.
"I had a great time at RYLA which was held at Vision Valley in January 2009. I meet many new people and learnt many new things about leadership. Relfection groups was a valualube time during the week to relfect on the different speakers that we listened to during the week.
