Every year Sydney Olympic Park with Energy Australia bring to Sydney Movies at the Overflow. It is a two week long outdoor screening of movies in the heart of Sydney. The Overflow is a small park where the Sydney 2000 Olympic Cauldron is permanently placed. Families and friends hold picnics and relax in the summer weather before it gets dark at 8.30pm and the movie is screened on a massive inflated screen.
This year Rotaract MQ went to see the Pixar movie "Up". The movie is centred around a retired balloon salesman, Mr. Fredicksen who fulfills his childhood dream of tying thousands of helium filled balloons to his house and travelling to South America. Little does he know that Carl, a boy scout who is intent of receiving his last badge (helping the elders) happens to be on his porch as the house flies away.
