Our Binet scores are rising!
On Friday the 4th of June, Rotaract Macquarie sent a team out to Epping Rotary's trivia night. They had a very efficient system, and we picked up a lot of tips for running our own trivia night in August. Our team consisted of Jack, Holstein, Fran, Josh, Nick (Davies), Evy, Billy, Rory, Scott, and Jeremy, which was a fantastic turn out on quite short notice.
Epping Rotary had recently donated first prize for our Biggest Morning Tea raffle, and participating in this event was a nice way of saying thankyou.
We may have placed last on the ladder, but as Ian (a quiz master for the night) mentioned, "you can't beat enthusiasm," and we definitely had the most of that!
It was a great night all up, and everyone contributed in different areas, complimenting each other nicely. The only down side was that later that night I (Jack) got a flat battery on my car, but Fran and Josh were nice enough to keep me company until the NRMA arrived.
Thanks to everyone who turned up, Epping Rotary were very pleased to have a full table of "young ones." Keep your trivia brains active as our club is having it's trivia night on the 21st of August!
